Fun Reception Ideas!

Been reading on theknot.com.au and saw a few articles on making a Reception really fun.
Here are some pics and different ideas I like.

Pinata!

Crayons! This adds onto an idea I already have, which will be a surprise!

Balloons! Possible reception decor!

Activity books for the kids during the ceremony and/or reception
Lollies as a buffet dessert!!
What about folded old school chatterboxes!!! (origami fortune telling devices) out of vintage paper to entertain guests at the reception. Scattered around the tables and give everyone a laugh by telling fortunes, dispensing dares and compliments, as well as letting them choose names for our future children. All of them strictly silly and are intended to keep the mood light and playful throughout the night.

My pledge

I call Australia home!

Me saying my pledge

Congrats me!

The Little French Shop

I visited this beautiful little French stop in Brisbane. Unfortunately I can't write much about it because the owner doesn't approve of blogs. But I thought you would enjoy the photos I got to take before she asked me to put my camera away.
The shop was amazing, every space was completely full!
Huge price tags.
Heaps of paintings outside.

Wouldn't you just love a cabinet like this for your kitchen!

$3650 for these shelves and ladder.

Girls' Brigade Weekend

This weekend I spend the whole weekend away learning about how to be a good Girls' Brigade leader. Even though I was so restless and tired I did enjoy the time to just really focus on a way I can serve God.
Time to sleep now. For those who want to know more about GB, here is the Girls' Brigade Website.

Exploring Garden City

A real funky looking music player!
Today I had a few hours to spare. So I went to explore Garden City for the first time. It was a lot bigger than I had imagined. But I grabbed a chiller from Gloria Jeans and some sushi for lunch and just took photos of things that took interest to me.
Westfield, Garden City.

Cool display in Borders.

Loving Borders!

Guess what section i'm in :P

Hahaa, i should write a book like this :P

Ideas, Ideas, Ideas...

A display of leftover items from Vday.

Made me think of Adam.

Happy St. Patty's day green people at the pub!

Goodbye westfield.

Time to find the car.. haha
